Title: I love Ida Maria, and you should give them a listen.
Post by: Tyler on 15 Feb 2007, 17:16
Ida Maria is a Swedish indie rock trio with a large sound. The lead singer sounds similar to Bjork in some instances, and in general the music gets you moving.

Two tracks to listen to:

Oh My God (http://www.box.net/public/1oxtgekr7l)
Queen of the World (http://www.box.net/public/0lamalzpcc)

Man, these folks are great. Whoever is producing them at the moment they should not end their partnership with because the sound goes perfectly with the music.

On "Oh My God" the vocals were kinda of...scary.  But Queen of The World is good.  I'd like to see more of them.

The melodic death metal movement would disagree.
