Title: Thread In Which I Pimp My Friends Band Like a Jerk

This is a band a couple dudes I know are in. They are called The Definite Articles. Unlike every other friend of mine who has ever started a band, they are actually pretty good! It is just a Cellist/Vocalist and a Violinist and a girl who sometimes does background vocals. It is a 9 demo of various songs, and basically I really think you should all listen to this band because it is actually a really good band! Check it out, dudes!

This is my really good friends band. This video is extra awesome because the sound guy showed up late and high on something. Well, not awesome, but interesting because they still managed to play the set well.

A few of my friends are in a black metal band called Staurophobia.  They're relatively small, and as a bonus, hate Myspace, so I have no auditory examples for you folks.  But I can tell you that they only have one song, and it was 35 minutes long last time I checked.  They intend to eventually write it up to 2 hours.

Dudes in the Bay area should be aware that these dudes(The band the thread is about play in the area a lot. Also, people in Portland/Seattle, they are playing up there this weekend, and I would reccommend attending, because they are pretty awesome live.
