i rambled about her a bit on gabbly. her dad's african-american, her mom's korean-japanese, and she does hip-hop/pop in japanese and english.

pretty lady! anyways uh i like her musics so here are some youtube links:
telepathy (live) (http://youtube.com/watch?v=n51jI4-zTMk) - shows off her voice nicely.
hard to say (acoustic) (http://youtube.com/watch?v=iMU9kFB6adI) - slow, again, exhibits her voice well.
kirakuni (http://youtube.com/watch?v=tPRzr2lIy6w) - fun, catchy, danceable.
eternal memories (http://youtube.com/watch?v=q3ctEJLSkCE) - SHE WAS 13 WHEN SHE DID THIS SONG.
so i guess what i am saying is, internets, i hope there are some of you out there who listen to her and maybe you can give me links to download some more of her music? pretty please? as an offering i give you some korean pop which is sort of not really related since it's not very hip-hop-ish: cracker: compilation for a bittersweet love story (http://www.mediafire.com/?7n21digh23j).

Sorry i Can't help you with finding her music...
But i liked her songs and will post something you might enjoy (and might already know):
Akino Arai - Kirei na Kanjou (http://youtube.com/watch?v=tw9_OWMRfAQ) Something in the vein of Eternal Memories. Thoughful and slow-paced.
And some random j-pop. Shallow and suggary but somehow tolerable. Yuki's might be specially good if you enjoy cute/ridiculous videos as well:
Yuki - Dramatic (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pcaKq4Llmo)
Yunna - Houki Boshi (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DOZHK6AWH_E)

Goddamn. She may or may not be the hottest chick I have ever seen.
Also this marks my first experience with bilingual hiphop, and I fully and completely approve.

I like that Kirakuni song lots.
This was her first number apparently:

One of the comments there suggests checking out a site called jpopsuki.com (means "I love J-Pop", btw) but it appears to be down at the moment. Could be a good way to find some more?

you can download kirakuni here (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=1LNHPUIJ)!
and here is another song that i like, baby girl (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=OJ90QJBE). it is a bit more r&b sounding.

2006 - Call Me Miss... (http://www.sendspace.com/file/drn1u5)
i will recommend one after i have downloaded and digested them myself.

Seems Tokyo's going berzerk for her - her videos are playing on the big screens in Shibuya (the crossing where the dinosaur walks across in Lost In Translation, if you know what I'm talking about) and there're whole trains advertising her and so on.
Random Tully's endorsement... weirdly the other person involved in this same campaign is Ron Carter, a jazz bassist who did his most famous work in the 70s.

Man, for some reason I thought that was a packet of condoms at first. I guess we just don't have pretty women smiling out from boxes of coffee here in Australia.
