So Spoon's new record just leaked today. Listening to it right now, lovin' it, though the track order could use a little improvement (basically so that a different song opens the record woulda been nice). Anybody else get the chance to snag it?

Yeah, it's almost like they were worried about becoming too popular or becoming pigeon holed, so they decided to use a batshit crazy album title that sounds like some overcooked R&B treatise.

At first I thought this was going to be a thread about Frog Eyes, since their singer is always going, "Wee Wee Wee Ga Ga Ga!" all the time. It really annoys me and is probably the reson why I don't like Frog Eyes.

I don't know if this is my comprehensive collection of Britt Daniel erotica and fan fiction speaking, but I think the album is great.  As good as Gimme Fiction and different.  Rythm & Soul and Eddie's Ragga are comparable to Chicago At Night and the Two Sides of Monsieur Valentine in terms of awesome song structure, lyrics, and guitar lines.  I seriously could not care less about the album title, any more than I could about Spank Rock - Yo Yo Yo Yo Yo (to which I think someone alluded earlier in this thread) or for that matter !!! - !!! (I was kind of hoping that their second album would be titled either !!!!!! or ?!).  The only real problem I foresee is that it makes you sound retarded when you are describing the album to non-Spoon fans (but then why would you want to talk to a non-Spoon fan . . . .ewwww).

I would say that statement does not fall at all into the 'slanderous lies' category. More into the utter truth category. I've seen 'em live, up close. and trust me: he looks like Busey.
