Since this is a Yo La Tengo thread already, can someone also recommend a YLT album that sounds most like the song Green Arrow off the aforementioned album

They did some soundtrack for an underwater nature film which I remember reading was nothing but their instrumental/ambient style songs such as 'Green Arrow.'

Other than that, Summer Sun and And Then Nothing Turned Itself Inside Out have the highest ratio of 'calm' to 'noise' on YLT albums that I can think of.

i started with Prisoners of love. Now a big fan... but since it hasn't been mentioned here... was that a mistake?

If I were to work it out I'm sure that Summer Sun would have at least three of my five favourite Yo La Tengo songs on it. It's a great record.

I quite like their newest, actually....but I would never steer someone away from I Can Hear The Heart Beating as One.
