so, andy falkous and jack egglestone from mclusky seem to have a new band now called future of the left. they play music (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BGem4he6Ph4).
discuss.

Thanks to this I just watched the promo single for "She Will Only Bring You Happiness." I had no idea the single mix changed the bridge to "our old singer is an ex-criminal."
-
i was surprised, too, when i first heard that version of the song.
-
Anyhow, Future Of The Left are quite good. "Real Men Hunt In Packs" is now my Myspace profile song.
-
has falco been working out? He looks a lot thinner than he was in Mclusky
-
Awesome, always did love me a little Mclusky. The name choice sounds a little provocative, no?
They sound pretty cool, hopefully they'll hook up with Albini and make a stonkin' record for people to break plasterboard to!
-
I haven't heard future of the left, but I do like Shooting At Unarmed Men
also fuck you tommy, The Difference Between You and Me was great

Yeah I have to agree with Kai on this one. Those first four tracks alone make this one a keeper.
Though, in retrospect, perhaps it's telling that the B-sides disc of mcluskyism is my favourite.

youuuuuuuuuuuu don't know what it's liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiikeeeeeeee
to be haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaateeeeeeeeeeeeeeed

1956 and All That has some of my favourite guitar playing on any song. Honestly, that guitar tone makes Shellac sound tinny in comparison!
Yeah but Kai broke the 'No Coloreds' rule so his opinion is null and void.
He disobeyed the apartheid!
-
I'll be the Roy Campanella to Kai's Jackie Robinson.
-
I've been listening to their Myspace tunes all morning. I want this album to come out now.

I have a horrible feeling that Shooting At Unarmed Men were in Australia late last year and played a show with The Nation Blue, and I got there too late to see them.
Am I wrong? Australian mclusky fans?
