Quite a few weeks ago, my friends and I were having a campfire and singing silly songs, when we decided to try to come up with a "gangsta" way to sing the song "Amazing Grace." After stumbling upon what we felt was pure gold, we rushed back to my studio at work and laid down a few tracks. I spent at least seven quality minutes in the production room mixing everything down to just the proper amount of crunkosity, and now I present to you:
Amazing Graze, Bitches! (http://www.whatis174.com/mp3/AmazingGraceBitches.mp3)
Lemme know what you think, forumites...can I be the next Timbaland, or not?

Will click on the link in a minute.
I just have to get over the disappointment that this wasn't about the Spiritualized album

Truly an interesting interpretation. That's all I can say at this point. Might do well in certain demographics, though.
It may need more bagpipe.

it definitely needs more 'bitch'.

hmm ok, that works, sort of. I guess if your into gangsta style then it'd be OK. I'm not much for gangsta but i do recall once playing Amazing Grace in a reggae like groove. I also enjoy playing the chord progression for "House of the Rising Son" but with Amazing Grace lyrics. It goes over fairly well at any of the jams i've been at.

I am intrigued. I'll check this out later.
