well, this one is an easy one.

any band that I haven't heard of, I don't love. And if any of those specific bands are unknown, then no one has really heard of them, and I don't love them.

I saw these guys (http://www.myspace.com/theriotbefore) live at a place about five minutes from my house.  They're terrible!

They opened for The Grates and they were horrendous. Though it was pretty loltastic when the singer kept falling over his microphone cord.

I didn't know anyone else had heard of them.  They must have gotten popular or something.  I guess it stands to reason, what with their mindless pop-punk noises.

Ah man,
I saw a band called Whirlwind Heat and they were really, really bad.
Something about the obsession with the pitch shifter on the guy's Moog or that they wore the shirts of their own band.
I couldn't tell if they were trying to be pretentious or ironic but it sucked either way.
They also got bonus suck-points for ruining a perfectly good Sonic Youth reference.

Lol.  This band made me laugh.  It is something I would have considered awesome three years ago.

God they are shit. They played a gig with the New Pornographers and I got up the front before their set to make sure I was right up the front for afterwards and a dumb bitch kept yelling "WOOO" right in my ear.
