Title: New Liars CD

New liars cd comes out today, how long before itunes gets its shit together and puts it up?

anybody who has heard it have any opinions?

Apparently Pitchfork liked it a lot, but their review makes it sound really generic and rock-y. Kinda like they tried to make a Stooges record but ended up with a Hives one instead.

wow... all these months of waiting and it just sounds like a terrible version of the Brian Jonestown Massacre mixed with what sounds like some kid playing with pots and pans.

stick to what you know best next time liars, that was pure dissapointment

To me it sounds somewhere in-between Drum's Not Dead and They Threw Us All in a Trench..

I definitely like it though.

now that im at a loss, is there anyone else that sounds like drums not dead? something like deerhunter or alex delivery, maybe even some early animal collective, anything that sounds like any of that, suggestions will be praised

Furthermore, Kai sinks.  Liars - Liars also sinks.  Hence Liars - Liars is also witch.  Good album too.

You're doing it wrong, you're a witch if you float :P if you sink (and die) you're innocent and can go free. Kinda.

Not a huge fan of Liars but always had a soft spot for 'em (very first band I ever saw live) and it's an improvement on 'Drum's Not Dead'.
