I currently have 1 NES game(Kirby's Adventure), 6 SNES games(Super Mario World, Actraiser, Super Metroid, Donkey Kong Country, Donkey Kong Country 2, Super Castlevania IV), 1 Genesis game(Ristar), and 3 N64 games (Mario Kart 64, Starfox 64, Paper Mario).
I am becoming obsessed with the VC. Today, as soon as I get on some pants and venture out of my room, I'm going to be buying Landstalker. WHICH EVERYONE SHOULD DO.
So, does anyone else actually use it?
-
I use it, but have seriously neglected it of late. I have maybe thirteen or fourteen games on it and have about a dozen others I've been intending to procure for months but never felt like parting with the money (Topping the list are Paper Mario, Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania and Punch-Out).
-
I have Super Mario 64, Super Mario World, and ActRaiser. When I get my Wii back online (my network at home is screwed up, hence why I don't use my Wii or 360 online right now), I'm going to buy Super Metroid at the very least and possibly some others too.
What I really want is for them to hurry the fuck up with Super Mario RPG, which they've supposedly been working on for ages.

I've got
NES: Ice Hockey, Super Mario Bros., Adventures of Lolo, Punch-Out!!
Super NES: Street Fighter II, The Legend Of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Super Mario World, Diddy Kong's Quest, Super Metroid
N64: Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Star Fox 64, Paper Mario,
Genesis: Gunstar Heroes, Shining Force, Wonder Boy in Monster World, Shining in the Darkness, Breathe of Fire II
Turbo Graphx 16: Bomberman '93, R-Type., Bloody Wolf
I feel like I've really got the cream of the crop. I wish each console had it own channel and everything were more neatly organized. also im running out of wii room and i wish there was a faster method to save games directly from the shop to the SD card and access the SD card from the channel screen.

You need Solider Blade and Military Madness for TG-16. I had never played either game before, but somebody told me they were some of the best games for the system. And they probably are, because they're damn good.
I also have Act Raiser, which is probably the best hidden gem of the entire VC line-up. I literally passed on playing the Wii games I had in order to finish it.
There are so many games I want on VC it's ridiculous. I figure I'll pick them up between big releases on the Wii. Once I finish Metroid Prime 3: Corruption and Zelda, I'll drop a ton of money on it. Even games I still physically have for Genesis I'll probably buy because it's convenient and I'm a consumer whore.

I have Paper Mario and F-Zero X for N64, Street Fight II Hyper Fighting Turbo for Snes and Super Mario Bros. and Kid Icarus for NES and when I'm gonna get some Wii Points, I'm gonna buy Super Metroid but now I'm too preoccupied about finishing MEtroid Prime 3

Also, fucking Earthbound. They need to put that game up immediately.
-
It would be cool if the VC would emulate GB and GBC games, there was a bunch of games that were great
-
I wouldn't put it past them to add them in later. They're going to be adding Neo Geo as one of the available consoles and that's much harder to emulate than classic Game Boy and Game Boy Color.
-
Well, they're adding the Neo Geo in Japan. There's no word yet on whether or not those will come to other territories.
-
I figure some of the bigger name stuff will see release stateside. Most of Neo Geo's earlier work doesn't really require a lot of work in terms of localization (I.E. Metal Slug and a whole bunch of fighting games).
Beyond that, my main point is that the VC system is capable of adding on consoles and if it can emulate as high as an N64, the only other restriction i memory capacity (Which is why we'll likely never see Saturn games appearing), which is something Game Boy games won't eactly skirt the line of.
-
Or Dreamcast games, which is unfortunate.

Adding Startropics to the library would make me incredibly happy.
