Title: Days of the Week mix
Post by: Lines on 06 Sep 2007, 13:13: Ahoy, everyone! I am working on a mix using songs that have days of the week in the title or mention a day in the song, but I am in need of more songs. If any of you could recommend me songs (and possibly share them?), that would be most excellent. When it's done, I would love sharing it with anyone who wants it.

dancing through sunday - AFI
blue sunday - the doors
sunday morning coming down - johnny cash

i don't like mondays - The Groovie Ghoulies

tuesday's gone - lynyrd skynyrd

thursday - morphine

friday night - the darkness

almost saturday night - georgia satelites
saturday night special - lynyrd skynyrd
saturday night - the misfits

also, if you don't want to put the seven-minute-long version of "Blue Monday" on your mix, New Order mixed it up into the more compact "Blue Monday '88" (although I like the original mix more.

I can think of a few artists names with days of the week (Happy Monday's, Wednesday 13) but no other songs except Tuesday's Gone which has already been mentioned.

God how did I forgte I don't like monday's! I have seen Live Aid footage. Compare Live Earth to it and you realise how pathetic Live Earth was.
