Wow.
Still, Gary Sinese IS Bones. Just look at them both. Can you imagine anybody else in that role?

Woah I am pretty excited about this now. Not sure about the choice for Sulu, but I'll let it slide for Gary Sinise as Bones, because that is fucking perfect and I can see Simon Pegg rocking Scotty extremely well.

Also did anyone else read that article as saying Chris Pike is said to be in discussions to play the key role of Captain Kirk at first?

I don't like Star Trek. So will I see this?
The cast looks promising and this sounds entertaining. I'm up for it, and a tangible excitement is rising in my throat. Is this real?

I love Star Trek, that is my geeky allowance that I like both the original and Next Generation. that being said I'm not a trekkie, I don't LARP, go to conventions, have a uniform or even so far as subscribe to a mailing list or forum that talks about it. I just enjoy watching the show.

Just as much as I'm going to enjoy watching this movie, I mean, Simon Pegg as Scottie? Now I hear they're getting the guy who played Harold from Harold and Kumar to play Tsulu!! this is going to be the next big geek new generation crossover.
