So I am planning on getting this beauty:

So I thought I might add the details:
Dean Cadillac Select:
# Arched Figured Maple Top
# Mahogany Body
# 24-3/4" Scale & 1-11/16" Nut
# Grover Tuners
# Gold Hardware
# Zebra Pickups
# Tune-O-Matic Bridge
# Set Mahogany Neck
# Rosewood Fingerboard
# Block Inlays
# 22 Frets
and I was wondering if any of you have had experiences with Deans, or the Caddy specifically.
It's a beauty, in my opinion anyways (if thats counts for anything), for sure.
And from what I have heard its very bright with a certain crunch too it.
Oh, forgot something: it is priced at around $469.00 on musician's friend.
Probably going to have to replace those pickups though...

I hate the head stocks on Deans. They're huge and gaudy. Well, to me anyways.
Seriously, you could like, harpoon a whale with that thing.

Agree completely with imapiratearg.
Points for the Clash (though actually Vince Taylor) reference.

Stick it on a BC Rich, and you've got the most dangerous guitar ever. Sounds like shit, but you can stab like 6 people at a time!

Reportedly, USA made Deans are the shizzle, but their overseas made models are lacking. You could be lucky though.
Nevertheless, if I were you I'd just buy an Ibanez AR300 instead. That thing is pretty sweet, and inexpensive!

Makes them bleed from the ears as wells as the gaping flesh wounds you have just dealt them!

I looked at the AR300 since you mentioned it. It seems nice, but I cant really seem to find anyone around here that sells it.
The local store doesn't seem to have it either, so it would be kinda hard to try it out.
