I played Soul Calibur 2, and it was cool and all, but man... fighting games. Outside of Smash Brothers I just really can't bring myself to care about them anymore.

Yeah, I'm only vaguely interested because I have this innate ability to be pretty good at fighting games.

In two my character varied between Ivy, Talik, some dude and that greek chick with the knee and the kicking.

Did Soul Caliber 3 have any guest appearances? I can't remember.

I always favored Voldo and Kilik, personally.

My guess: Solid Snake or, more likely, Cyborg Ninja . Snake's in Smash Brothers Brawl, why not here? and everyone knows Cyborg Ninja is completely bad-ass and would be an awesome addition.

I find it entirely and highly unlikely that one production company would loan another their top character license. That would be like Nintendo letting Sony use Link in Soul Calibur II as opposed to being proprietary.

Expect it to be an actual Namco character. I'm hedging my bets on it being another copout Tekken character or something.

Honestly though my post was truly wishful thinking. I have no idea who the ultra-secret character will be and I don't much care as long as Todd McFarlane has absolutely nothing to do with it.
