It would appear that this belongs over in the Comics & Drawing forum, not Movies, TV & Books.

Ah, thanks for the link. I guess i was thinking of the (slightly silly) movie, not the books.

Still, Yay for fans of the books.

man don't talk about the movie. the world would be a better place if more people just forgot it ever existed.

the black dossier was kind of disappointing, a little too dense for my taste and didn't really have the substance of the previous stories
(although the bertie wooster story was tops). i guess i was expecting a proper volume 3. i learned that they ARE going to do a real volume 3 a little while ago, so i am not upset. i still believe in alan moore.

Where the hell does Tom Sawyer fit in?

The greatest inconsistency with that is that apparently the filmmakers had no idea when the Victorian age took place, because Tom Sawyer, as established in Mark Twain's novels, would have been about Allan Quartermain's age by that time.

It's even worse than that. Tom Sawyer really does have no place in the film; he was added specifically so that there would be an American in the League. Because, you know, Americans have to have their hands in everyone's shit.
