Not too embarassing, but I guess it depends on who you ask.
-
Vuur - Mary And Child
A somewhat obscure and now defunct European hardcore band doing a Born Against Cover. That seems pretty apt.
-

My love for Graham Coxon will never end. Fact.

I wish.
This post caused more confusion than it solved. Seriously, what is an itunes party shuffle?
-
Yakob, it's on iTunes where Steve Jobs decides you want to randomly listen to any of your music, so he chooses songs at random.
I got Your Mother Should Know by The Beatles.

:-D
-
It is like any other shuffle, 'cept more fun? Not quite sure why they called it Party Shuffle. (click for full size)

not using i tunes but jsut a regular shuffle i managed to win on many many levels
1. the string robberies - the goon show
2. god shaped hole - alchemist
3. good day - dresden dolls
-
I think the point of Party Shuffle is so that you can leave your computer and party with shuffled background music, but have the option to pick what's coming up next.
It's like, predetermined shuffles?
-
I just figured out that you can point it to a specific playlist. This is exciting.
And here at work, the first song is: Cut-Out Witch ~ Guided by Voices
-
You can also just select that playlist in the source pane and hit the shuffle button in the bottom left corner.
Apple software is pretty redundant (in a good way). There's always 5 ways to do one thing.
-
1.Cross Bones Style by Cat Power
2.All Souls' Rising by Angels Of Light
3.Punkrock by Mogwai
all good songs but i am afraid they don't mix well

Thank you. Why not call it just "shuffle playlist"? Steve Jobs is a funny man.
-
Because 'Party Shuffle' just sounds so much more fun and exciting.
-
OK Go - Crash The Party here.
-
Bad Waves by the Mountain Goats.
(All of the songs on it are actually Mountain Goats or Okkervil River, with the exception of one Lagwagon tune. I reformatted!)
-
Jesus and Tequila - The Minutemen
I haven't listened to this album in a while. I will be doing that right now.
-
Assassins of Hakim Bey - Coil
What a fucking sweet name for a song. What's it like? I've never listened to Coil.
It's a cool song. Hard for me to describe, but I guess it's like... middle eastern-influenced electronica over which a guy describes the legend of a Muslim king. I'll upload it.
here 'tis.

Boy With a Coin- Iron & Wine
-
Untitled 16 by Múm off the Blái Hnötturinn album. They this album as the background music for a children's play. It rocks.
-
My friend keeps recommending Múm. Any suggestions as to an album?
-
Sure, I'd say start out with "Finally We are No One." If you like that check out "Yesterday was Dramatic - Today is OK" and "Summer Make Good." The new one, "Go Go Smear the Poison Ivy" is probably best to listen to after these three. I'll upload a couple of them and put them in the sendspace thread for you if you'd like.
-
Boy With a Coin- Iron & Wine
That song is made of win.
Mine's Operator by Jim Croce.
Jim Croce is ALSO made of win.
