Title: Number One Music Video of 2007
Post by: audacity on 12 Dec 2007, 09:21: I was channel surfing last night, and caught the tail end of Vh1's top 40 music videos of 2007.
They're choice was Fergie's "Big Girls Don't Cry".
It's a lovely song, sure, but number one video of '07? Surely they jest!
What do you all think the #1 spot should've been?

Post by: KvP on 12 Dec 2007, 10:02: I don't get any music-oriented channels (MTV doesn't count anymore, obviously) so I'm only exposed to those videos that I actively seek out. Seems like these days videos are more expensive than they're worth.

But if I were to choose, I'd probably just choose Bjork's "Declare Independence" (http://youtube.com/watch?v=LGC0VVobi6E), just by default, since it's Michel Gondry and all. But there's not a lot of conviction in that choice. I'm not even that crazy about the song.

Agreed. Menomena's Evil Bee video was also awesome
And to those quoting the atlas video, I'd argue that the tonto video is the slightest bit more awesome.
