Is it possible?
-
As far as I know there's no slot for a memory stick on a DS, so I doubt it.

Yeah. I thought so. I had heard rumors of an adapter or something, but I couldn't find anything on it. Thanks anyway.

That doesn't sound worth it. I guess I'll just get an mp3 player...
Thanks.

There are dozens of ways to turn a DS into an mp3 player. I recall reading about DS supercards several GB in size. Take the supercard option and you could probably play emulated games, freeware and all kinds of programs. I'd be surprised if there isn't an open source DS browser yet.

I have an R4DS, which basically lets you play movies/mp3/NDS roms on your Nintendo DS. The cartridge acts as a memory stick which you insert a microSD into. So depending on the GB of the SD card, it's up to you if it's worth it or not. In my opinion there's really no point. It's brilliant for playing NDS roms but if you're wanting something that plays mp3 files just go for a mp3 player.

This is something I am DEFINITELY interested in. As a guy who can't afford an iPod who has a lot of media intended for portable use, this is very appealing. Carrying a macbook pro around is impractical.
Price range?

R4 does it. R4 is VERY attractive. Sure, half battery life, but still, y'know, roms, video, pictures, music...

Since that post, I can afford an 80gb iPod classic!

Since your post I've sipped on my apple juice no more than twice!
