$259, not including song cartridges. not sure how reasonable that is. otherwise, i think it is a nice idea!

you know, I saw the Mae Shi a while ago and their singer played this and I was absolutely clueless as to what the hell it was. It all makes sense now. Pretty badass, but, if the pricing Ruyi posted is accurate, I would never say it's worth it. It would make for the greatest garage sale/ thrift store find of all time, though.

The Omnichord is fucking great in the right hands (http://www.myspace.com/jennyomnichord) and I won't hear a word of disagreement.
Yes, that's "These Eyes" by the Guess Who.

So what are you saying Pentaen, with this post? That it should not be easy to make music?
I think we all know what that means gentlemen...

From the Suzuki page:
If you love music, now you can become a member of the band quickly and easily with the new QChord, an exciting digital instrument that strums like a guitar, plays melody like a keyboard, plays chords like a piano and has over 100 MIDI voices and rhythms on board to customize your music. Anyone, musician or not, can instantly sound like a pro at the touch of a button. You can't make a mistake! And like a video game, QChord has multiple skill levels. Learn to play in seconds, then add features as you get good. QChord is the new Digital SongCard Guitar.

On a side note, ever wonder what's going on with Q Chord on Shut Up I Am Dreaming?
Well, not only is it an interlude but it's done with one of these.

In 20 years indie kids are going to be all over this shit.

On our Roland Juno-G there is a handy "Audition" button, where every instrument has a programmed virtuoso riff that repeats, so you instantly sound awesome.

My friend once sent me a video of David Bowie covering Simon and Garfunkel's "America" with a Q-chord. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IS4ZW6f89QI)

True, it's used amazingly on the album "Focus" by Cynic, one of my favorite albums actually.

I had to listen to that song after reading this post, because yes, I did always wonder why it was called "Q-Chord". And now I feel enlightened.
