Oprah is poised for world takeover.
As long as she still hands out free cars I think I will be okay with it.

i agree. except the free cars part. y'know, what she didn't realize is, a lot of the people she gave cars to had to sell them because they couldn't afford the personal property tax on them.

Or didn't need them. Maybe if she gave cars to people who needed them and could afford tax/insurance, then I'd be happier.
Sometimes I don't know if she's doing certain things because she wants to do good or if she really does want to take over the world.

The same thing happens with that Extreme Makeover: Home Edition show. And plus, I hate Ty Pennington more than Oprah.

I think we can safely agree that the kind of person who would be in the audience at an Oprah taping doesn't really need a new car. Most of them probably already had pretty newish cars.

A lot of times on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition they'll do things like pay off mortgages and stuff so that the families can in fact afford to live in the upgraded houses. Anyway people who need a new car and who can afford to pay for anything on it are seldom the same, at least until they can use it long enough to get a steady paying job.
And Oprah is more of a Narcissist than Donal Trump. She feels that she's god's gift to the world, and that's why she's replacing Discover Health with a network dedicated to what she feels is more important. I mean really, who needs to be healthy anyway? That channel wasn't important at all. (Of cours I realize through saying this that it probably had low ratings which was why they want her to take it over, but that's America too I guess)

Why did I always think the Oxygen network was hers... I even thought it was referred to as "O" as an homage to it's ruler...

What? I severely doubt that. They've paid off mortgages on many houses and I really doubt they'd let this happen to people they've helped, as that's what the whole purpose of the show is - to give these families a house to live in. People having to sell the cars she gave out for free I did hear of (I forget where or I'd link it, mberan) and makes sense, but the house thing just seems silly.

Why did I always think the Oxygen network was hers... I even thought it was referred to as "O" as an homage to it's ruler...
She was an early invester in Oxygen, but later dropped support because she felt it didn't reflect her views.
