So, I've managed to find (by way of a relative's attic) three slides (negatives) of The Beatles, probably taken around '64 and in mint quality. Is there any kind of value to this stuff or am I better to keep them for myself?
(Edit: eBay informs me that no, they aren't valuable and I'm pretty much a twat for asking, but there it is anyways.)

I'll trade you my lunch for them.

Possibly not in themselves. There's SO MUCH Beatles stuff, but if you managed to get them developed, you might have a few pictures of the Beatles that no-one else has.

If you don't want them, I'll take em!

Question: If I really love Olivia Tremor Control's "Black Foliage Volume One", does that mean I should like the Beatles if I gave them another chance? I mean, the harmonies and pop stuff really reminds me of them, but I never liked their music.

Depends on what point in their career you're listening to, honestly. Give Revolver a shot, because that's kind of the middle. If you want more pop-like sounds, go earlier, if you don't go later. If you don't like that album, well, you probably wouldn't like either.

This man speaks the truth.
Back to the OP though, like DynamiteKid said get them developed. You may indeed have pictures that nobody else has. Everyone is always looking for some new iconic Beatles picture.

i'd say rubbersoul/revolver is the good middle, i honestly love both eras of the beatles for completely different reasons

Well, I've had the photos from the slides for forever, and they're nothing special: just them sitting at a table in a radio station (CKRW I think, Vancouver). I like the Beatles, so I've got the photos on the slides stapled around my room, but I was curious if the slides themselves (which have no real value to me) are worth anything.
I think it's safe to say that this thread should now be converted into everything about Revolver.
