Title: Heima
Post by: Indifferent Clox on 02 Feb 2008, 12:58
Don't know if this should go in the music or movies forums, but I just picked this up and am watching it. What do you guys think? I'll post my review when I'm done.

They just had a showing of it at the U of MN, and I saw it there and was able to purchase it for $12. Score!

To quote my own LJ, "seeing the performance of the last song, Popplagiš ( a.k.a. Untitled 8 ) on the DVD was about as close as it's possible to come to seeing it performed live in concert, which was about as close as I've ever come to seeing God."

I got to see the US premier in NYC with the acoustic set beforehand. It was truly beautiful. It's one of the top 5 movies I've seen this year and I'd say it's easily the best music/band movie I've ever seen.

I watched some of it, fell asleep, not in a bad way I was just tired and their music is really soothing.

Have you seen The Last Waltz directed by Martin Scorsese? It's The Band's farewell concert, it's got EVERYBODY lol.

Seen it along with many other music DVDs. I love Sigur Ros so I liked Heima more than The Last Waltz.
