Title: Podcasts you listen to
Post by: neil_beforezod on 07 Apr 2008, 20:04: Hi, I just finished reading all of the comics a few day ago and now I need something to fill my time while waiting for more questionable content to come out.

Do you guys have any suggestions for podcasts I could subscribe to?

I can suggest you check out PodcastAlley.com (http://www.podcastalley.com), which has a pretty good assortment of podcasts to choose from based on interest.

I can really recommend that you check out the IGN podcast "Three red lights" (Xbox 360 podcast) that had Don King on it promoting his coming boxing game. It's hilarious (that's probably my favorite podcast, and I don't even own a 360).

you mean the one that hasn't been updated in like....2 years? I don't know, he probably just got lazy, I mean he removed his email from the website because he was tired of fanmail or some other reason.

Post by: wm_star on 09 Apr 2008, 04:47: I regularly listen to the MeanDawg podcast (www.meandawg.com) - they have a movie one that comes out roughly every week that is hilarious, and they have archives up of an indie music one (there are about 20 episodes of it, and then it went on hiatus indefinitely, but listen to the archives for a lot of great music!).

And sometimes Mahalo Daily, but I kinda get tired of it after like 2 minutes. Also, Diggnation (video, but they put out MP3s as well), because it's funny and interesting, even though I'm not much of a Digg user. I'm told NPR has some interesting ones, so I'm trying to get into those, but I haven't really found any I'd listen to regularly yet (they seem to be very..US-related, obviously and while a little bit is okay, a lot is just uninteresting for me (non-American)).

I've just started looking up other podcasts than BOL and Diggnation, so I don't have a lot of suggestions (I've tried many, but not been very pleased), but I'd definitely say BOL, The 404 and Diggnation are my favourites, so far.
