Yeah so I were watching Vanilla Sky, and the song in the final scene really got to me. The song featured last in the credits is "Ladies and Gentlemen We are Floating in Space", but thats not it (unless I have some shorter version of that song).
Anyways, heres a one minute clip were you hear the song playing in the background.

Google says it might be "njósnavélin (the nothing song)" by Sigur Rós.
-
correct. also known as Untitled 4 on the album ().
-
Doesnt seem to be the same version as the one in Vanilla Sky though. Has it been released as anything else?
-
It's a live version. You maybe best off finding the Vanilla Sky soundtrack and giving it a whirl.
-
Sigur Rós' website says it is "The Nothing Song (Live)."
-
Indeed it is. I weep whenever I think of that band's good name being sullied by playing over any footage of Tom Cruise or Cameron Diaz. The song is most properly called 'Untitled 4' but fans have assigned each song off '( )' a name to refer to them with more ease and the band has pretty much accepted that.

So it seems to be a version played at Roskilde 2000, before it was recorded, that is featured in the film. Almost there...
