I honestly can't get into Grappelli without Django. He just never sounds as interesting as when he was playing with Django... Also, he made some damn cheesey music later on.
That said, I haven't heard that much of his piano stuff.
I'm currently listening to the "best of" Erik Satie... if anyone could recommend something in a similar vein, I'd be obliged (I'm looking at you here, Paul).

Came Up Smilin'- Railroad Earth

I'm listening to the album Standing Alone by a group called Eccentric. The particular song is Step It Out, Mary. Celtic Stuff, of course.
-
Mellowship Slinky in B Minor- Red Hot Chili Peppers
-
"The Crying of Lot G" by Yo La Tengo literally just ended and I am now listening to "You Can Have it All."

I was listening to Do Make Say Think a couple hours ago.

These are about the most pointless thread ever.
Currently I am listening to the hum of my computers fan with my sister watching TV in the background.
-
I stumbled upon a very cool video of Coalesce and the lead singer of Daughters doing a cover of Mouthbreather by The Jesus Lizard.
-
Slint - Washer.
What a stereotypical coincidence.
-
I was listening to the version of Three Colours that Sunset Rubdown did for their Daytrotter Session last year.
-
"As If It Were That Easy" by Ready Fire Aim

We had a thread exactly like this a year or so ago. It ended up being dozens and dozens of pages of names of bands and songs or albums. In other words, incredibly boring and nothing that anyone in their right mind would want to read! The question with threads like this is: what is the ratio of people who are genuinely interested in knowing what other people are listening to, to people who just want to show everyone how great their taste in music is? I'd wager that there are going to be a lot more of the latter than of the former.
Basically what I'm saying is that threads like this are kind of like an internet version of farting: loud, obvious, maybe mildly amusing on a really slow day, but ultimately nothing you'd want to be in the vicinity of in the long term.
I'm listening to Pneumonia, by Whiskeytown.
