i thought it would be pretty sweet if Jeph redid the first eight strips or so (up until Sara is introduced) with his modern drawing techniques....just to see what it would look like
-
It would be good to see, as long as they don't completely replace the originals. There's something quaint about seeing a professional comic artist's early amateurish work. It's also fun to see how the style develops.

Someone asked Jeph what he'd redraw if he could do only one, and he said #4.
-
I'd quite like to see that.
The artist from another webcomic I read stopped drawing the comic for a couple of months and went off to practice drawing with different styles. The first thing he did when he came back was redraw the last one he did with his new style and the difference was pretty epic.
-
I seem to recall Jeph saying that he'd like to redraw some of the early strips for his proposed book of them.
-
I think that would be cool, as long as he didn't erase the older strips. I love reading them and watching the transition.

This is true. I asked Jeph in the "Ask Jeph" thread if he'd go back and redraw some of the early strips. He said he would if/when he gets around to making a book.

Project ROL. It's not bad.

VG Cats did this with a few of the early strips- i liked the older ones.
I think what Jeph should do is draw a weeks worth of new comics in the same style that he had when he began QC.
