Hehe, first thread.
Remember that Alternative Pop band, who did that funky dance tune on Soul Train, "Walk The Dinosaur" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CPytMr6sKv0)?
That band, that did the song "Hello Dad, I'm In Jail" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nwX-aZixthM), that was featured in the movie "Pump Up The Volume"?
Man, I love this band. And, wow, David and Dan are still active (http://bojack.org/2008/05/i_was_at_was_not_was.html). After their '92 breakup, with the release of their album Boo! (a few months ago actually), with a song (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzkJwzzjRXU) written by the "brothers" and Bob Dylan.
So... Was (Not Was), anyone?

I believe the song is called "Walk the Dinosaur", and Parliament did an excellent cover of it that far surpassed the original. Also from my past experiences, QC does not dig on that song nearly as much as I do.

Heh, Fix'd. It's too early in the morning.
-
Never mind the Flintstones, it was covered by one of the most iconic australian bands of all, time, The Tinlids

I used to have that album. The "I'm in Jail" song was a shining gem amongst an otherwise bland record. "Spy in the House of Love" was okay I guess.

Video or it didn't happen.

Not my fault you never saw the Super Mario Brothers movie.
I never thought I'd ever get to say that.
(There is not a video)

...was featured in the movie "Pump Up The Volume"?
Somebody upped the entire soundtrack in the mediafeyere thread, if you hurry it may still be there.
It's one of the most superior movie soundtracks of all time in my opinion.

"Hello Dad, I'm In Jail" isn't on the soundtrack...
-
you're correct it's not on there, I was just saying that the soundtrack happens to be up since you mentioned the film...

Love Was (Not Was), and especially "Walk The Dinosaur", however I've hated most remakes.
