:?
This is my opinion.
My opinions are sometimes wrong.

Battles
Liking it so far guys, after reading some other recommendation threads ive updated the list, will go through the rest of the ones suggested so far.

I love Kyuss, I was just curious about the whole 'Post-Rock' thingy.
I mean I guess it doesn't really matter what you call them, they were a good band.
Indeed, true that. I've been listening to Demon Cleaner almost nonstop for the past day and a half. Have you ever heard Tool's cover of it?
-
Another suggestions thread, another opportunity to hawk my two most-referenced bands in suggestions threads:
Pavement: Easily one of the most recognized progenitors of what is today called "indie rock". Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain and Brighten The Corners are the places to start with the band.
The Dismemberment Plan: Three fucking words: "Emergency And I".

Kyuss - Catchy post-rock stuff
I believe the terms you're looking for are "riff-driven" and "stoner rock."
There are very few Kyuss songs I would describe as "catchy" in the traditional sense. Since that usually implies something regarding the vocal melody, specifically in the choruses, and most of the (really good) Kyuss music is all about pounding thick, stoner riffs into your skull for the duration, or breaking into psychedelic jams or solos.
Also, not that it matters much, but listening to Demon Cleaner by itself is inherently doing it wrong.

If you're liking Oh No! Oh My! or other twee bands, try checking out Jim Noir or Los Campesinos
Jim Noir makes songs about computers and losing his football over the neighbours garden
Los Campesinos are like Arcade Fire.....except happier.....and from Wales!
-
From your list it seems like one logical step would be to get into some Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.
-
I'm going to second Los Campesinos! and Pavement, and due to the suggestion of the latter, I am going to suggest Mock Orange.
-
!!!
The fact that your list includes this and does not include LCD Soundsystem about five times in a row is heresy. Go listen to Sound of Silver once, then buy it and listen to it a hundred times on repeat.
-
I'm going to recommend... the same people that got recommended to the last person who started a thread like this, but I'm pretty sure at least 50% of those bands are the same as his taste.
-
Based on Modest Mouse and Band of Horses, I'd say Built to Spill. Maybe There's Nothing Wrong with Love or Perfect from Now On.
-
From some of those, I'd suggest checking out Sufjan Stephens, Madahoochi, or possibly Camper Von Beethoven / Cracker (Camper moreso, start with "Take the Skinheads Bowling" or whatever.) Or maybe Moontaxi.

don't forget the infamous
neutral milk hotel - in the aeroplane over the sea
its a classic and essential to ANNYYYYbodies music catalogue
