Title: Bernie Mac 1957-2008

Bernie Mac died today.  Reports are that it was due to complications with pneumonia.  He is survived by his wife and children

Its too bad.  I liked him.

I didn't much care for his standup, but the dude had a showman's voice, all bluster. Sounded like a guy you wouldn't mind hanging out with for awhile.

He had problems with his lungs before, I think. Pneumonia is fuckin' scary in any event.

I think he had a chronic disease and was in the hospital over something they expected to be minor. It is sad that he died, he seemed like a good guy.

huh, until the reports were corroborated with that whole sarcoidosis thing, i was willing to write this off as a meth thing.

Hey now. Jeff Foxworthy may not be particularly funny anymore, but at one point he was. And, he's pretty influential (even if you hate the people he influenced). Plus, from all accounts he's a pretty nice guy.

I would have to say he was my favorite King of Comedy.  Never really thought he was all that funny, but he was always better then the rest. He will be missed.

Man......that is so shitty.  51.  I liked the guy.  Sure the show started going downhill....but he was so good.  He always seemed like a great guy.  Rest in Peace Bernie.
