Title: Live in the Phoenix area? Bored on Wednesday? Like Wii Games?
Post by: Roivas on 28 Aug 2008, 23:17
Yes a laundry list of requirements, I know. But I found a bar that is barren enough on this particular day that a small group of people can take over and start palying games all night while drinking to... aid, yes aid hand to eye coordination. I'm bringing Wii Sports and Wii Play but I ahve some other games I could bring along as well.

If anyone's interested feel free to bring your Wiimote and a game or two. We'll get this thing going even with a complete lack of planning or organization!

That's where this mysterious bar is. They call it Nate's Place but I've never met anyone named Nate there, so it might be a misnomer.

Might I suggest Rock Band (and soon to be released Rock Band 2) to your list of games.

Quite well enhanced by alcohol.

The bar's got Rock Band, but they didn't have a PS3 controller there last time, so we couldn't actually get the game going. I don't own a PS3, and I'm not going to buy a $50 controller to play Rock Band on someone else's system, that would seem weird particularly for a bar.

But if someone brings a PS3 controller we can do that too.
