Helios man. An album should be in the mediafire thread.
Really anything ambient would work though.

Broken Social Scene's Feel Good Lost always worked well for me.
-
Road-trip in Europe music:
Cease Upon The Capitol - S/T
-
Last bus home music: First Night and Lord, I'm Discouraged - The Hold Steady
Basically, drunken bar-rock ballads in 6/8 time.
Also Missed the Boat by Modest Mouse, and you've got to have 4A.M. by Cherry Ghost, because the first line is "It'll get you on the last bus home".
-
Last bus home music: Selected Ambient Works, pt. 2 by Aphex Twin, or LCD Soundsystem's All My Friends, on repeat.
-
'I am going to sweep/mop/vacuum the SHIT out of these floors' music: Daft Punk - Alive 1997

"Good on a long drive and feeling kind of lonely" music -- Desperado, The Eagles
-
'I am going to sweep/mop/vacuum the SHIT out of these floors' music: Daft Punk - Alive 1997
I am not kidding or exercising the slightest bit of exaggeration when I say that my house became immeasurably cleaner once I bought Alive 2007, so this doesn't surprise me at all.
-
'I am going to sweep/mop/vacuum the SHIT out of these floors' music: Daft Punk - Alive 1997
I usually clean to the angriest music I can find. Strapping Young Lad’s City or Ministry’s In Case You Didn’t Feel Like Showing Up cranked to 11. It’s like FUCK YOU DIRT ARRRGHGHGGGG!!.
Good writing-term-papers music: Merzbow through headphones. Nothing like noise to completely block out everything around you.
-
Good-god-it's-3am-and-i-can't-get-to-sleep music: Things we lost in the fire by Low.
-

K.C. Accidental.
-
'Move On Now' by Hard Fi has an association for me with being on a bus, passing by grey suburbia, with the streetlights and shadows passing on my face.
-
Driving through miles and miles of absolutely nowhere (southern Colorado or Kansas): Kenny Wayne Shepherd band: Trouble Is or just about anything by Clutch.
Driving through rainy mountains: Agalloch: Ashes Against the Grain.
-
The first song on earth's latest album.
The whole of that album, actually.
Hell, anything by Earth...
-
Peter, Bjorn and John
-
"I need sleep now" music - Chill Out - The KLF
-
Good sitting in a comfy chair in front of the fireplace with a giant mug of hot chocolate and a woolen blanket because it's fall and really cold outside music: Radical Face - Ghost
(Sorry for the way too specific category, but I just really feel like doing that right now. Too bad I don't have a fireplace.)
-
Merzbow.
Hell, he probably has an album called 'merzbus' just for the possibility it does happen. He made an album for everything else.
-
Depends what you're on the bus home from; but these days I'm generally tired out by that time, and my offering for the kind of music that makes the bus home seem timeless is Arvo Pärt's Passio.
-
An all-vocal version of "Big City Life" that I've got... perfect.
-
Jesus Christ you people need to listen to Escape the Day.
Really
-
Awesome on-your-knees-playing-air-guitar-and-rocking-the-fuck-out music: Dinosaur Jr.
"Get Me" is probably one of the most rockin' songs ever. Even if it's kind of slow. The solos fucking destroy.
-
Mezzotint by Chris Herbert.
-
Going home feeling sick and tired, yet feeling a weird rebellious idea that tomorrow is gonna be awesome: John Frusciante - Inside of Emptiness
Thinking about 'life' : any Tom Waits
I just want to stay in bed and feel nice and safe: Kate Bush - The Morning Fog, or Midlake - Van Occupanther
-
"I really should be going to sleep now" music - Know By Heart - American Analog Set
-
Arvo Pärt's Passio.
Dude, yes.
-
I'm gonna say "The Rip" by Portishead.
-
Good I'm Feeling Emo But Don't Want to Listen to Emo Music: Beck - Sea Changes

The best I feel shit and want to feel happy again music: A Tribe Called Quest - Midnight Marauders
I need to be at peace with myself: Charles Mingus - The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady
I want to stay home, drink tea and read a book: Midlake - The Trials of Van Occupanther
-
Best "It's 5 AM and I've Given Up On Sleep" Music? "Mirrored" - Battles
And my Bus home music is currently "Reconstruction Site" - The Weakerthans, but that's generally at 5PM not even close to LAST bus home
-
Hmmmmmmmm...
Burial - Untrue
-
Good last bus home stuff would be EITS, Massive Attack, DJ Shadow or Grails.
Good my-girlfriend-is-all-sad-so-I'll-give-her-a-cuddle music is Slowdive, Stars of the Lid, Angel of Light, Helios or some softer Bowie songs.
-
"Last bus home" music: "Last train home," Lostprophets.
Good Lord do I ever love lostprophets.
anybody know any good studying music? i'm procrastinating.
I've found pretty much any music without words is good study music.
If you prefer music with words, then use songs that are in a language you don't understand, so you don't focus on the words.
If you prefer english, then anything by Robert Johnson, Close to the Edge by Yes, and the later recordings of the Beatles all work nicely for me.
