Title: Real life Coffee of Doom
Post by: Mad Cat on 14 Sep 2008, 18:07
Okay, so I've been sitting on making this topic for a while. Finally succumbing to my desire to make my first non-intro thread.

Is there a real-life Coffee of Doom? Maybe a coffee shop somewhere that served Jeph as the physical or spiritual inspiration for the CoD?

I know someone familiar with the Northampton area and she told me that Northampton Coffee at 269 Pleasant Str. (http://www.northamptoncoffee.com/) was the original CoD.

(Extreme right behind the back end of the Tempo)

So, is she right, or barking up the wrong baristas?

If this is a poor topic, then just talk about your own personal Coffee of Dooms that you frequent, but be sure to describe how they are like CoD.

I keep having to remind myself that you mean Northampton MA, not Northampton, England :P Damn you America, why can't you think of your own place names? >_>

so... what makes this place so similar to CoD? No offense intended, it's just.... it doesn't really seem like CoD to me at all... excluding the point that it is, in fact, a coffee shop.

... And it's in the same town. (Though one is fictional.)
