Title: Faye's Clothes
Post by: jazziewolf on 23 Oct 2008, 23:12: I was hitting the 'random' button, you know, procrastinating as usual, when I comic 389 popped up. Even though the art is different, I noticed that Faye is wearing the same thing as she is in the more recent 1258.

Just something I noticed.

Fruit of the Loom, black, gray, or white - $5.50 each at Walmart.
I do have some "specialty" shirts, though two don't get worn out often.

- Mall*Wart (http://www.northernsun.com/n/s/1876.html). I wore this twice back when I actually worked at Walmart on nightshift. 3 assistant managers actually read it. One just laughed and walked away. Another said, "That's pretty funny." The third laughed, but said, "You probably shouldn't wear that. A co-manager also passed by without even reading it; underlings aren't worth attention. :)

- Mars Exploration Rover (http://www.countdowncreations.com/marsrovert.htm). Possibly too nerdy to wear out, though I maybe should wear it again, just to say, "Yeah, those damn things are still going!

- MST3K: Space Mutiny (http://www.zazzle.com/mst3k_space_mutiny_shirt-235867882386687918), though it's black, and with a different design.

- And of course, Evolution Kills (http://www.questionablecontent.net/merch.php#evolution).

Post by: Cartilage Head on 27 Oct 2008, 12:56: He has done this before. Jeph is pretty good at outfitting his characters. If you've noticed, he'll even have them mix and match shirts and stuff from old outfits. I've always thought that it is a pretty good touch.
