Is a strange and silly series. Sometimes the crimes are formulaic as hell and sometimes the solving feels like a Deus Ex Machina paid a visit, but I watch it for the Detective Crews.
The man is a riot to watch.

You should see him in Band of Brothers. The man is a genius.
Unfortunately, "Life" is shit. I tried to watch it and... it's not a cop drama. It's a hemidemisemipseudo-cop drama. They have a witness look at ONE person and ask "Is this the guy who stole your car?" WTF happened to that esoteric cop tool, the "line up"?
If you're going to have a cop/crime drama, you have to follow at least the most basic procedures. Even if your line up is the suspect and five homeless guys paid five bucks a head.
I think that particular travesty came up in the third episode, but I'd already squirmed my way through the first two and that was the last straw.
Still and all, Crews is great. You should seriously get Band of Brothers. Everyone in that is great.
