The Wayans brothers are making a parody of dance movies (http://www.avclub.com/content/hater/wayans_brothers_release_worlds)
Not Another Not Another Movie: A Terrible Parody Of Terrible Parodies (http://www.avclub.com/content/hater/not_another_not_another_movie_a)

There was a lot of potential in the "Not Another Not Another Movie" Concept, and it would appear that it'll be squandered.
Sigh, I guess I'll just have to hang out for "Not Another Not Another Not Another Movie"
-
Not Another Not Another Movie could turn out alright. Come on, Burt Reynolds and Chevy Chase can be funny when given the right script.
-
Oh god no, oh god. Oh God. OH GODDDDDDD
-
Reading the synopsis I was reasonably positive about this until I saw that they film within the film was a spoof of spoof films (try getting your head around that concept when stoned) I had thought it was going to be the brother just making cheep and easy spoof movies with increasing amazement that the public was lapping it up. It could have had an almost Producers esk quality and comedy potential.
-
I'm honestly confused as to how they're going to skewer parodies, when the parodies have no inherent qualities themselves to skewer, since they take all their material from the core of the work they're parodying.
-
This is so meta, I just posted on the internet about shitting myself.

You're Satan a marketing executive, right?
-
noo

I will be submitting this, along with the babel fish, as my final proof of the nonexistence of god.
-
This doesn't prove the non-existence of God. It proves the existence of vengeful, Old Testament God.

Who is testing our faith, be strong!

You cannot tell me that Fletch was a bad movie. You just can't. It's not allowed.
-
I can tell you that Chevy Chase is more miss than hit, though. Especially in the latter part of his career.
-
I had no idea he was either these days. Dude is still working?
-

Agreed, but I think it depends on the script, not his comedic chops.
-
That does not fill me with confidence for this particular project, all things considered.

The day that Friedberg and Seltzer release Spoof Movie is the day that Western civilization dies. We can only pray that they are killed by Delorean-driving time travelers sometime before this.
-
skraight out tha poop.
=[ i don't like these type of movies. the first Scary Movie was alright and after that they just got STUPID.
-
I saw the trailer for the Dance Flick yesterday and it actually made me laugh, which is surprising for these "Movie" movies.
I'm never gonna see it in cinema though.
-
Actually the Wayans were only involved in Scary Movie 1 & 2, Pat Proft the last two (I hope) of the Scary Movies, the rest of the "Movies" are the brain-sucking-children of Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer.
-
The irony put a black hole in LA county. Go irony!

me too, but i wouldn't pay to see it.
it would be one of those movies where you're chillin' at a friends house and they say,
"hey i got this movie, wanna watch it?"
"well, fuck yes."
-
yeah. i don't think any Wayans bros movies have been worth going to the theatre for.
Only real thing I liked about Wayans bros was My Wife and Kids (^^) and Marlon in Requiem for a Dream
-
white chicks was stupid.
-
But Little Man man was brilliant, they put the head of Marlon Wayans on a midget and it looked real, didn’t it?
-
I was blown away. It was such a riveting performance. The idea of a man posing as a child to find out what the grown-ups are up to. After all, aren't we all still just children, only labeled as adults because of our vocabulary? This film was a symbolic triumph depicting the innocence and ingenuity of children, and I think more films exploring this concept are demanded, nay, required from that formidable bastion of culture we call Hollywood.
-
One time an acquaintance brought a burned dvd of White Chicks to my apartment. It was only playing in the background as we talked about other things and had lunch but it still ended up being turned off in under 10 minutes due to being so damned annoying. For the life of me, I still don't understand why he thought my roommate and I would have any interest in it.

I think my last post went over Dimmukane's head...
-
That's right, because I'm only a child, and children are short.
-
I know my post went over your head

I was reminded of the movie Babe, where many barnyard animals where able to form words with their otherwise inhuman mouths. I must try teaching this trick to my goldfish, Bartholomew. It would bring me great delight to hear him quote Macbeth after feeding on flakes.
-
The cartoon of Charlotte's Webb will always & forever be my favorite movie about a pig.
-
Can't be that many pig movies. Didn't they use CG on the animal's mouths in Babe anyway?
-
From the trailer for Dance Flick, it appears they actually bothered to write a script.
There are even legitimate jokes! I am amazed.
No, really, the "no I in team" riff and the "look out, black girls" bits are actually funny.
It gives me flashbacks to when the Wayans' were funny (In Living Color, primarily).
-
My Wife and Kids gave me a good load of chuckles.
... And that's about it
