why, jeph, why didn't you place a warning about a goatse...like when you warned about Mapplethorpe photos before googling them...and this is much more horrifying than any Mapplethorpe photo!!! ::::shudders::::
-
He didn't place a warning because he wanted to see how many people would actually go look for themselves.
Current count: 1.

lol. touche, but i'm sure he assumed people would google Mapplethorpe as well...
-
I am actually kind of amazed that there are stil people besides my parents who do not know what goatse is.

A good strategy: if you come across any unfamiliar, neologistic-looking words, do not seek out their meaning. Restrain any and all curiosity.
"Lemonparty," for example. Do not look this up.

tubgirl
2 girls 1 cup
The list goes on.

if you must know, at least go to a slightly less shocking site to find out instead of carelessly googling it. Ie, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shock_site (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shock_site)

well, i will just say lesson learned. i will rein in my curiosity from now on instead of carelessly googling strange and horrifying things.
