Which due to the difference in the passage of QC-time to real time means she's had a couple of days off work or just had shifts when nothing interesting was happening.

We don't have to see every character all the time. One can only assume they have lives outside the coffee house (unlike in Friends where they're in every single episode all the time), like Steve, who has a job and a life and stuff (and thus hasn't been seen lately)

no one asks "hey, where's Amir?"
I like Amir, maybe I should start a thread...
