Title: The Mekons, what's the deal?

So the Mekons are a band that I have always heard quite a bit about but since I am a stupid jerk I never got around to listening to their music. They have a rather expansive and (so I've read) varied discography, so I was wondering if there are any Mekons aficionados that would like to point me in the right direction of where to start with this band!

I don't know if I'm ever gonna get used to the new color scheme on the PRF, but at least it's modernized!
