Basically, Mangum posted on some indie rock message board that he's wrapping up a bunch of projects and going to start working on another album and it may or may not be NMH. Quoted from his original post:
"we dont have a timetable for releasing the album yet, so dont get your hopes up for new songs now. if you want more "aeroplane" just ignore all of this, the songs are songs but they're longer and more free. when jeremy came down after his tour we just spent days playing noise while screaming and it was incredibly liberating."


Well, dudes, what say you, I for one am just a little elated, and just as equally apprehensive. Just how fuzz folky can one guy get?

Edit: Apparently Rob Schneider of Apples in Stereo confirmed that the post in question is NOT qwritten by Jeff Mangum, they be boys IRL or some shizz.

This is old.  Nonetheless, I am a bit skeptical, but I have my fingers crossed.  Jeff Mangum is a visionary.
