Inspired by todays comic in which hanners says her epitaph will probably be "she finally snapped, like we always knew she would"
what do you think your epitaph is going to be and what would you wish it would be?
mine is probably going to be something like "yeah, she was nice and boring"
i'd rather it was "she was one bad ass bitch, who kept everyone guessing till the end" or something similar
anyways gooooo!

"we tried telling him: humans dont fly, but he always wanted to learn by experience"
-
"When [Rocketman] saw the breadth of his domain, he wept for there were no more worlds to conquer."
-
"When we last saw our intrepid hero "
-
"Died tragically rescuing his family from the remains of a destroyed sinking battleship."
-
"His insomnia finally got the best of him"
-
"Huh, we thought he had died years ago" is probably what it'll be like. My ideal one would be something like "He finally found out the answer to the greatest of mysteries".
-
Straight from Slaughterhouse-Five, "Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt."
-
"And there finally endeth the arch-nemesis of egg yolk."
-
Straight from Slaughterhouse-Five, "Everything was beautiful and nothing hurt."
Everybody knows if you're going to use a Slaughterhouse Five epitaph, it'd be "So it goes." Just sayin'.
-
"It turns out you shouldn't push the button marked 'Do Not Push'."
-
"If life seems jolly rotten,
there's something you've forgotten,
and that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing
When you're feeling in the dumps,
don't be silly, chumps!
Just purse your lips and whistle, that's the thing! And
Always look on the Bright Side of Life."
-
I'd like my grave to be an upside down crucifix with the words 'lived by the sword, died by the sword' engraved upon it.
-
"I expect he did something, but I can't recall what."
-
It would probably be "She was bright but she didn't apply herself."
My ideal would be "She walked in the stardust and her contributions to the human race will never be forgotten."
-
"Here Lies: (Real Full Name Here)"
"Social Security Number: (Real Number Here)"
"Driver's License Number: (Real Number Here)"
"Gun Permit Number: (Real Number Here)"
"Passport Number: (Real Number Here)"
"Mother's Maiden Name: (Real Name Here)"
"Father's Name: (Real Name Here)"
"Last lived at: (Real Address Here)"
"Also Known As: (All Aliases here, listed in alphabetical order with dates and purposes used)"
"That Which I Have So Jealously Guarded In Life, I Now Give Freely In Death."
"So That I May Be Immortal Through Identity Theft."
Damn, that's gonna have to be small to fit it all on a tombstone.
Maybe a bigger tombstone...or written all over the inside of my crypt or something.
Unfortunately, that's MY idea of an ideal epitaph. Unfortunately, mine's more likely to be: "Of all the ways we all thought he could go, even he didn't see this one coming."

"No, It Wasn't Ink Poisoning"
out of irony, because I probably will die of ink poisoning like they all say.
-
@ Mr. Skawronska : you win the prize lol that was the best one so far hahahah
-
"By the time that you read this I'll probably be dead"
-
"I can feel you standing on me."
-
I don't know about my epitaph, but I'd like people to say at my funeral: "Holy shit! He's moving!"
-
"Well, that was easy."
-
"GET OFFA MY LAWN"
-
Either....
"Who?"
Or....
"Thank God she's gone."
I don't know which is worse.
-
"I told them I was sick."
-
"Died tragically rescuing his family from the remains of a destroyed sinking battleship."
BASTARD! And here I thought I would get in a good Royal Tenenbaums ref.
Hmm...
I think I would have the entire Incomplete List of Impolite Words engraved on my headstone. Or maybe, "I am now the frisbee." :-D
-
"Apparently, this will not make him stronger."
or
"Here lies [Makaio]. Or at least that's what they want you to think."
-
"Here lie the parts we managed to gather up."
-
"the ones that loved him could no longer cover up the mass amount of corpses in his wake"
-
"He always knew it would end this way, but he kept trying to change it."
"And now he's dead."
"Wait, what?"
I am determined to confuse anyone who tries to make sense of my epitaph.
-
"Well, we didn't know what else to do with the body."
