Release version music videos of course.
Which one is your favorite?
Mine shifts, but I tend to come back to liking Jesus of Suburbia by Green day, because, well, Jimmy`s pretty, and he looks like Zack from the movie C.R.A.Z.Y [Awesome movie.] as well as One by Metallica, Johnny got his gun is a great novel and movie.
SHOOT.

This should be in the Music forum.
-
Indeed.
-
I was contemplating on that, but the music VIDEO is what is more important in this subject, I thought.
-
I'd say there is good reason for it to be here. Music videos are not only about the music, but the visual "film" if you will.
That said, Tarzan Boy by Baltimora (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_r0n9Dv6XnY).
-
Well, i guess from the art side of things it could be in here but i'd still say its Music Forum material.
However: Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer

possibly my favorite video ever; i'm not sure.
Battles - Tonto (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LLAN29W-4w)

The epoch of the music video age was Windowlicker (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1P3Wc-37pC4).

That is a great music video.

The artsier and weirder, the better, if you ask me.
The Peter Gabriel videos I definitely enjoy.
Talking Heads did some cool stuff as well. "Road To Nowhere" and "Nothing But Flowers" spring to mind.
David Bowie's "Ashes To Ashes"... classic.
Beck and White Stripes also made some great videos.
Man, it's so hard to pick a favorite... but if I had to, I'd go with "Heart Shaped Box" by Nirvana.
-
i still watch "freak on a leash" by korn and just think "that is fucking badass."
also, i remember when i was about 5 or 6, me and my brother wanted to video the michael jackson "moonwalker" film on our new vcr, and our mum set the timing wrong, so we got part of the jacko video-a-thon they were showing before the film itself too. the highlight of which was THIS (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CbH04pY7alA).

I'm not sure what the title of this song is but there's some screamo song with an amazing video. It shows you the singer, but all you can see are the teeth and the spit flying out of his mouth.
It's an awful song, but a cool video.

November Rain by Guns N' Roses. Jeph agrees (http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=349) (check the news section).

Sounds like Mindless Self Indulgence...
Or Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Thirteen posts and no Breaking The Law (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psTUiQzNoxw)?
I don't really know if I would consider it my favorite, but it is a good one.

The video for Animal Collective's Water Curses (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7GZLRxVzvg) is ace.

Trinity Roots - Little Things

i forgot about this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZUbuVokKc8 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZUbuVokKc8)
it's made doubly awesome when you get the album and realise the video is essentially the band performing inside the artwork from the liner notes.

KMFDM did something kinda similar in 1993... the video for "A Drug Against War" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cogqqLXwRBQ) consisted of animation featuring artwork from all their past albums.
