We are not exactly sure what this is yet - another viral marketing game, an animation demo reel, or just a short film? But this is really amazing! It looks more like an FPS game, combining Half life 2 background and Star Wars soldiers? What is in the BOX? Show me your guess! It may be just a minibox with ""Red Ring of Death" LOL.

Yeah, certainly looks like a HL2 copy of something or other. It's more of a fan video than a game trailer. But who knows, maybe there's a promising mod lurking around somewhere...

Black, swirling clouds above a tall tower-like structure? The sounds is not the only thing they got from Half-Life.

I just paused the video about 30 secs in. Things that have struck me so far:
- no emotion in the announcer guy's voice, ie: shit voice acting
- glancing look at the blood on the guy's hand with no real interest in it, ie: shit acting
- no groundshake when the supposed explosion went off, ie: shit production
- definite HL2-ripoff black clouds
- definite HL2 ripoff bg music (incidentally, it shows how much we just accept that music in games is not on a par with movie music, because it makes the scene so much more B-Grade in feel)
- overly emotive pantomime-style or even children's show hand movements when about to pick up the box
- speaking of which, what is he taking it out of, and shouldn't that red lever have had to have been turned to open it?
Next 30 secs:
- ok, so yeah, I don't know about you guys, but the first thing I normally do when I am picking and experimental box with a red ring of light on it out of its protective casing is go over to the window where a cataclysm is happening and shake the box at the cataclysm to make it angry.
- "SIGNAL CUT OFF" lol.
- more pantomime hand gestures.
etc.
You can probably guess that I'm not overly impressed by it.

Also: why would the soldiers be trying to shoot him with rockets instead of bullets? They are right fucking there running behind him and they don't bother trying to shoot him until very much later.
