There's always a chance it could be something else, but it's more exciting to assume that it's a totally new thing.

Edit: Yeah so, not happening. It's a boxed set of all their albums or something I don't remember

According to a recent Pitchfork interview with Kim Deal there are no plans for any new Pixies music, but...

That's why this is kind of confusing. It could easily just be a box set or some unreleased stuff, but I dunno. It'll be interesting either way.

I'm not too excited about this. Their latter albums were kinda shitty. They devolved into shred-fests at times.

Like everything AiR releases, it's staggeringly, horrifyingly overpriced. I'm sorry, $450 for four albums on vinyl, some concert footage, a photograph and a book is just stunningly absurd. It's actually stupefying me right now.

I think I might go listen to Doolittle like four times in a row now. Maybe throw in a play or two of Come On Pilgrim just for the hell of it.

Anyone who thinks Bossanove and Trompe Le Monde were weak records needs to have some new ears installed so they don't have to keep using the ones which are clearly being muffled by their own asshole.

People don't like Trompe Le Monde?? But that album has 'U-Mass' and 'Alec Eiffel'! Those two tracks alone make it awesome and the rest of the album (mostly) doesn't hurt that image any.
