I'm pretty skeptical about this one... On the one hand, it's V... on the other, it's Morena Baccarin with terrifying short hair.
Oh, hell. I'll probably watch it anyway.

I hope this sucks only as much as a series about reptilian aliens masquerading as humans has to and no more.
-
Really hoping for a David Icke cameo.

Dude, V was totally awesome. I loved that show.

Haha, the original V had Freddie Cruger... Willy... he was so nice. I was scared shitless in ... 87 or whenever that screened in my country. Everyone bugged out over a scene where the hot female leader ate a live mouse. :-D

I'm sure there's a fetish for that in a country somewhere.
Epic show, as an addendum. XD

The movie was very impressive back in the day, and the subsequent series was okay. It wasn't great, but was worth watching.
I'll probably check this out when it's on.

Yeah, can't help but guess this remake will be better, whether or not it's needed etc... Seems a funny candidate for remaking from a commercial perspective - was it that popular first time round?

It had a tumultuous existance; the mini-series did as well if not better than could be expected but an attempt at a full-on tv series crashed and burned. Like just about anything, however, there's a following that's still around if you go looking hard enough for it, and light weight sci-fi in general is gaining traction these days. Kinda funny since the original really was nothing more than a Nazi allegory crossed with a blatant attempt at a Star Wars cash in.

Now - if we could just get them to remake 'Space: Above & Beyond"...

YES!!!
A damned good series canceled by morons

I've never heard of V before, but from the trailer I'm pretty sure I can predict the plot.
I hate trailers that do that.
