Title: In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court...
Post by: Faker on 09 Jun 2009, 00:00
Ok, so there have long been rumors about a possible A-Team movie.

However, rumors have now been replaced with facts (http://www.empireonline.com/news/story.asp?NID=25013)

I'm still not 100% sure about whether the movie is a good idea or not, but fuck it, Liam Neeson!

"Given that Carnahan is apparently keen to excise any camp, jokey aspects from the movie,"

What.

Wouldn't have guessed Liam Neeson was 57.

If they fix all of the godawful clichés of the series in this movie I think it could be really good.

If they fix everything that was wrong, clichéd or over the top in this series they end up with a shit movie that no one cares about.

So, i'd say: don't.

Will Mr.T be playing Mr.T? I mean: how do you replace him?

Does this mean that when more than 10 people are firing with beaucoup de automatic weapons at ranges of less than 10 feet people might get hurt?

Shia LeBeouf is going to end up in this movie somehow. I know this, without reading the article. Prove me wrong, America...prove me wrong.

'Fix' =/= 'Remove'

You're right, when making a movie on a series like this you don't just take out everything it was known for just because it's okay for people to get shot on tv today, for example. All I would like to see is a little tweaking or updating to match the quality of movies in this age.

Eh, maybe Star Trek left a mark too deep in my mind about how remakes should be.
