Is it worth it to watch the original for the first time now, or will it be horribly, horribly dated?

Make sure to watch it with rifftrax the second time, or maybe the first.

Post by: Durb Durb Durb on 07 Aug 2009, 10:15: Absolutely still worth a watch. The FX will indeed look dated, but when you consider that they were done in 1981, they sort of blow your mind a bit. Also, for anyone who cares, the artistic consultant for Tron was the same man who was in charge of it for the 5th Element - Moebius.

I didn't think the video looked that bad anyway. The faces looked bad, sure, but I'm optimistic about this movie being fun.
