Sven doesn't seem the type who would want to be in charge of a guild. He almost doesn't seem the type to be in a guild at all. I don't followed the characters' twitters, so if it's covered there, ignore this.

She's known to be in his guild (Twitter), was there mention of her being guild leader?

Marigold had to phone here guild leader when the computer went belly up, so there is a possibility that her GL is local - or at least that he/she might be expecting a phone call at 3AM from a fellow player.

I'm sorry, I fail to see the amusing part of it. I just don't think it would be very funny.
