After much rumour and delay and hype, Shrinebuilder have finally released a track, up for streaming now at the band's MySpace (http://www.myspace.com/shrinebuildergroup), and it is so, so, so good.
It is called Pyrmaid of the Moon.
It is over seven minutes long.
It crushes skulls and smokes them.
Shrinebuilder is a doom/sludge/stoner metal supergroup composed of Scott "Wino" Weinrich of St. Vitus/The Obsessed/Spirit Caravan/Hidden Hand, Scott Kelly of Neurosis, Al Cisneros of Sleep/Om and Dale Crover of The Melvins.
They're recording a full-length which will be out on Kelly's Neurot Records... soon?
Below you will all talk about how pants-shittingly awesome this song is.
