I've been listening to this song by Marilyn Manson (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkg5SvG06c0) a lot lately, and really like. I was wondering if there were other hard rock songs with a swing beat people could remember me?

"Tarantula" by The Smashing Pumpkins is the first one that comes to mind.
-

There's a song off of Jawbox's fabulous long-player For Your Own Special Sweetheart that has a track titled "Cruel Swing". It swings. It's loud.

-
swing yer partner round and round/when that car flies off the ground
-
Can I just recommend some normal swing instead?
Ah screw it, I'm going to anyway. Get some Count Basie recordings from the late 30s and the early to mid fifties.
Actually that's terrible advice. Get a lot of Count Basie recordings from the late 30s and the early to mid fifties.
This is advice for everyone.

there's a ska/core band called Public Access. they're pretty heavy, and have some killer horns in most of their songs, as well as some nice bass. I'd check em out.

I personally haven't heard anyone else quite like them, so if anyone has heard of some other bands like these guys let me know as well!

If you're talking about the one I think you're talking about, it actually came out just a few weeks ago. I can put it up on the mediaf!re thread if anyone's interested.

It's pretty good.
But a better question is if you have DSO's debut EP? I haven't been able to find it.
EDIT: Now I know why. Borderline Hymns is just 4 songs later released on The Butcher's Ballroom. D:

I'd disagree but this is pretty good advice.

i really want somebody to make a youtube video now of people swing dancing to el camino car crash.
i would totally do this.
-
anna you know what must be done.
-
see, this requires me to find someone who:
1) knows how to swing dance.
2) appreciates the swing kids.
finding one trait is hard is hard enough. finding both in one person seems nearly impossible.
i mean i could just make a video of myself dancing with someone to regular swing music and then edit the video and replace the original music with el camino car crash theoretically speaking.
but that just wouldn't be the same.

if there is ever a forum meetup the both of us will be at we will learn to swing dance and accomplish this.
