The point of interest here is that a completely undiscovered guy with one hell of a voice is sleeping on the streets.

I recall a local homeless dude down the street from me in Toowong (Ziggy, the bag man, anyone who's lived in Brisbane for any period of time would have heard of him) who was quite well of but basically just wanted to sleep in the street and eat ice cream. This is only peripherally related to the subject at hand, ha-ha!

but if he's doing okay as a homeless guy, why is it so amazing to have discovered him? it doesn't seem as though his talent has lain dormant for a period of time and this video is the first time in years someone has handed him a guitar. I don't see no tears of joy in his eyes

That's some crazy stuff there.

Anywho, who knows if he's homeless or not (the guy with the lent guitar)... He sure knows how to play and his voice isn't too terrible either (I kinda like it).

For the people asking this guy is legitimately homeless. Apparently the radio show guys discovered him during their annual homeless shopping spree event. This is why he is dressed reasonably well. I didn't find his creep cover that spectacular and I enjoyed his own material more.
