I just saw this on youtube and though it was pretty great. It is kind of bluesy.

Someone also upload his cover and 3 original tracks on mediafire (from the radioshow).

we get this guy in Bath, he's not homeless I don't think.
-
Is it the law that homeless people have to be great musicians in the USA?
-
No. Most of them are terrible.
-
Homeless Mustard doesn't look remotely homeless. His clothes are nice and clean, and he doesn't look dirty or haggard, he just has a beard
-
So he's a homeless guy who takes care of himself?
This guy rocks, whoever he is.
-
I guess he could still be homeless. That is a good point. But then does it even matter that he is homeless?
-
Yes because not smelling of urine is not necessarily an express route to being a talented musician.
The point of interest here is that a completely undiscovered guy with one hell of a voice is sleeping on the streets.
-
is this what happened to the dude from House of Pain after his bland "blues" album didn't really pan out?
-
A homeless dude with a Taylor?
Nevermind, they let him steal borrow it.
-
Apparently they lent him the guitar.
-
Homeless doesn't necessarily imply destitute in any case. I recall a local homeless dude down the street from me in Toowong (Ziggy, the bag man, anyone who's lived in Brisbane for any period of time would have heard of him) who was quite well of but basically just wanted to sleep in the street and eat ice cream. This is only peripherally related to the subject at hand, ha-ha!

but if he's doing okay as a homeless guy, why is it so amazing to have discovered him? it doesn't seem as though his talent has lain dormant for a period of time and this video is the first time in years someone has handed him a guitar. I don't see no tears of joy in his eyes

Holy crap, that was insane. Definitely going to sit down and watch that documentary when I have the time.
-
I ignored this thread at first because I thought it said 'Homeless guy sings Creed'.
I didn't get why that was interesting.
-
Actually, that could be incredibly interesting provided that the homeless guy did it in an appealing manner. At the very least, I wouldn't see it coming.

That's some crazy stuff there.
Anywho, who knows if he's homeless or not (the guy with the lent guitar)... He sure knows how to play and his voice isn't too terrible either (I kinda like it).
-
I've talked to Thoth a couple of times. He's always there by that bridge and he's a surprisingly down to earth dude.
-
Is it the law that homeless people have to be great musicians in the USA?
In my experience it's the other way 'round
-
pooop
-
Maybe not all homeless people should be incinerated, huh?
-
Don't be so hasty now.
-
I'm kinda underwhelmed, to tell the truth.
-
I'd forgotten I posted this topic.
For the people asking this guy is legitimately homeless. Apparently the radio show guys discovered him during their annual homeless shopping spree event. This is why he is dressed reasonably well. He actually has a facebook account:http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1002210369&ref=search&sid=1673475895.4261540018..1 (http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1002210369&ref=search&sid=1673475895.4261540018..1) which seems legit.
I didn't find his creep cover that spectacular and I enjoyed his own material more.
-
So this guy went and recorded a EP (http://www.danielmustardmusic.com/)
Go buy it.
